Manchester United star provides update after suffering injury at Watford
MANCHESTER UNITED striker Anthony Martial has revealed he is on the mend after suffering a head injury against Watford.
Anthony Martial was substituted at Watford after a clash of heads
Martial was involved in a clash of heads with Hornets defender Daryl Janmaat on 26 minutes at Vicarage Road.
The Frenchman initially tried to play on, but was eventually substituted during United's 3-1 defeat.
However, the 20-year-old reassured fans of his condition earlier today.
He Tweeted: ”Feel much better today. Thanks for all your support and your messages!"
Following the defeat at Watford, Jose Mourinho admitted he did not know what condition Martial was in.
"I had to be on the game, at that time, and not worrying with Anthony," Mourinho said.

"I have not had time to see about the situation. It wasn't an action to go to hospital.
"I didn't know why he came off, whether he was injured in his knee, his ankle or his head. I just knew, in that moment, he was not in a condition to carry on. I just knew I had to change. I don't know yet what happened."
Martial is not expected to feature in tomorrow’s EFL Cup clash against Northampton.
