The Moroccan signed for the Saints for £16million from Lille on a five-year-deal during the transfer window.
However his debut for the south coast side has been delayed by a month due to a knee injury.

Nevertheless, Boufal's agent Yvan Le Mee insists his client was a target for several clubs including Paris Saint Germain.
"We spoke to PSG," he told French outlet SFR Sport.
"If Laurent had stayed at PSG he would have gone to PSG, because things would have happened quickly.
"We also had Arsenal, who - when they lost out on Mahrez - came back to us, but it didn't happen. We had Spurs.
"We had Chelsea, but though the club wanted to advance, [coach Antonio] Conte wasn't too keen. It's the job of the agent to say: 'Wait - the coach isn't as enthusiastic as the club. You shouldn't do it.'"
