Liverpool News: Scouts to watch £25m midfielder tonight, Sakho makes return, Klopp slammed
EXPRESS SPORT brings you the latest Liverpool news.
Liverpool vs Leicester - Premier League match preview
German newspaper Express claim the Reds will keep tabs on the Borussia Monchengladbach ace against Finland having failed to sign the player in the summer transfer window.
It is claimed the Bundesliga side turned down a £25million (30m euros) bid for Dahoud, who is refusing to extend his contract, which has two years left to run.
The France defender took part in a session at Melwood yesterday as he bids to get back in favour with Klopp after being sent home from the club’s pre-season tour for poor attitude.
But Sakho still faces a battle to displace Dejan Lovren, Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan in the pecking order.
Former Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli
"At the end of the day he [Balotelli] was a player of Liverpool and you need to treat him with respect - and he [Klopp] didn't do that,” Mino Raiola told talkSPORT.
"Mario asked several times to have a friendly match. You can train all you want but, at the end of the day, you need 90 minutes, you need a friendly. He never considered him for 60 days.
"I’m not judging him as a trainer - I don't like him as a trainer at all - but you have to let him play."
