West Ham line up shock move for League One wonderkid
WEST HAM are reportedly interested in Millwall defender Mahlon Romeo.
West Ham want Millwall's Mahlon Romeo
That is according to The Sun, who claim Hammers manager Slaven Bilic is considering a £2million swoop for the 20-year-old right-back.
Romeo joined the League One outfit from Gillingham a year ago and broke into Millwall's first-team in the second-half of last season.
The youngster featured 18 times for the Lions last campaign - scoring one goal in the process - and has kept his place in Neil Harris' defence this term.
His impressive form earned him a new long-term contract in March, committing his future at The Den until the summer of 2019.
And now Romeo could be set for a move to the Premier League, with West Ham reportedly lining up a move for his signature in January.
Romeo, who has won six international caps for Antigua and Barbuda, came through the youth system at Arsenal before joining Gillingham in 2012.
