West Ham are closing in on the £2.5million signing of Palermo ace Achraf Lazaar
The 24-year-old, who has been capped 16 times for Morocco, has spent his entire career in Italy, playing for Varese before joining Palermo in 2014.
He made 30 appearances and scored one goal for Palermo last season as they finished 16th in Serie A.
And his impressive displays have apparently caught the attention of the Hammers, Monaco and Sporting Lisbon.
But according to the London Evening Standard, Slaven Bilic’s side are the frontrunners to secure his signature.

It is claimed Palermo value the versatile left-sided player at just £2.5million and are prepared to sell.
If Hammers boss Bilic was to get a deal over the line for Lazaar this would be the club’s eighth summer signing.
Bilic has completed deals for Sofiane Feghouli, Ashley Fletcher, Manuel Lanzini, Arthur Masuaku, Havard Nordtveit, Andre Ayew and Jonathan Calleri.
