Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is keen to offload Nabil Bentaleb
The 21-year-old, who is contracted to Spurs until June 2020, made just five Premier League appearances last season and is deemed surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane.
And The Daily Mirror claim Lazio are keen to take the Algeria international on loan after contacting Spurs over a deal.
Bentaleb was left out of Spurs' 24-man squad for their pre-season trip to Melbourne and manager Mauricio Pochettino revealed in July that he is not in his plans for the new season.
"The situation of the other three players - Bentaleb, Fazio and Pritchard - is very clear. They are not in my plans and they know," Pochettino said.

Midfielder Alex Pritchard and defender Federico Fazio have since moved on with Norwich and Roma benefiting.
