Manchester City set to complete signing of Colombian prodigy: He will be loaned out
PEP GUARDIOLA is poised to take his spending to nearly £70million in just four days with Manchester City set to seal the signing Colombian teenager Marlos Moreno today.
And this latest deal underlines City’s determination to sign up the world’s best youngsters.
Moreno is the fourth player to be signed this summer aged 20 or under, following Sane, Jesus and Ukraine winger Oleks Zinchenko.
Regarded by club officials as a development player, the seven-times capped Moreno will spend the season on loan in Spain with Deportivo La Coruna.

It takes Guardiola’s overall spending since replacing Manuel Pellegrini as manager earlier now standing at over £100m. He has also bought Ilkay Gundogan, Nolito and Aaron Mooy.
Meanwhile, City will on Friday discover who stands in their way of a place in the Champions League group phase when the draw for the play-off round is made.
City have been placed in the “seeded league” pot meaning they avoid the likes of Porto, Villarreal, Ajax and Borussia Monchengladbach.
