Tottenham eye deal for Turkey international: Midfielder refuses to rule out move
TOTTENHAM are reportedly still interested in a move for Mainz midfielder Yunus Malli.
Yunus Malli has refused to rule out a move
Spurs were linked with a move for the Turkey international earlier this summer.
And according to the Daily Mirror, they have now revived their interest in the 24-year-old.
Malli impressed for Mainz last season, scoring 11 goals in all competitions for the Bundesliga side.
And he has refused to rule out a move away for Mainz after learning of Spurs’ interest.
"I can't and won't rule anything out. What's the point of saying 'I play for Mainz this season' and things look different in two weeks?" Malli told German magazine Kicker.
"Right now, my focus is to get fit. If nothing changes, that's fine. I'm comfortable here and Mainz are in the Europa League this season."
Tottenham have already completed deals for Victor Wanyama and Vincent Janssen this summer, while Georges-Kevin N'Koudou is expected to complete his move from Marseille in the coming days.
