Joe Allen is nearing a move to Stoke
The Welshman’s time on Merseyside looks to be coming to end after he held talks with Mark Hughes.
Express Sport understands both clubs have already agreed on a £13.5m fee.
And according to The Sun, a switch looks set to be finalised on a five-year deal after talks took place.

The news will come as a blow to Swansea, who have been heavily linked with making a move to bring him back to the Liberty Stadium.
The Welsh outfit had an initial £8m bid rejected and are yet to follow up with an improved offer.
Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins said on Friday: “Joe is one of our own players and if at all possible we would probably make that signing.
“We discussed it with Liverpool a few weeks back.
“Stoke have made an offer. The player will decided where he wants to go. Liverpool are asking a fair fee for the fact he has one year left on his contract but they are entitled to.”
Despite being a fan favourite, Allen failed to cement a regular starting spot under Jurgen Klopp last season and he is now expected to follow team-mate Kolo Toure - who joined Celtic today - out the door.
