Everton to make move for Leicester target Gylfi Sigurdsson
That is according to The Telegraph, who claim Ronald Koeman's side are prepared to spend £25million to land the Iceland international.
Sigurdsson played a starring role in Iceland's heroic effort at this summer's Euro 2016, helping them reach the quarter-finals in their first major tournament.
His performances attracted the attention of Premier League champions Leicester as they look to bolster their squad ahead of their Champions League campaign.
Walsh, 51, left his roles of assistant manager and head of recruitment at Leicester yesterday, despite signing a new deal less than two months ago.

And signing Sigurdsson appears to be Walsh's first assignment at Goodison Park, with Toffees boss Ronald Koeman also said to have targeted him at his former club Southampton.
Sigurdsson has been a consistent performer in the Premier League since his debut campaign in the 2011/12 season, going on to score 33 goals and assist 21 at stints with Swansea and Tottenham.
