Liverpool transfer in jeopardy over disagreement with Championship club
CAMERON BRANNAGAN'S loan move to Wigan could be off as the Championship club struggle to meet Liverpool's demands over the deal.
Cameron Brannagan (centre) made nine appearances for Liverpool last season
Brannagan, 20, was expected to join up with the Latics for the new season.
Wigan had originally offered £1million for the attacking midfielder but Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants to keep him for the long term.
What a goal from Cameron Brannagan
Brannagan made his Reds debut in the Europa League last season and went on to play nine games during the camping.
He was not included in Klopp's team that beat Huddersfield 2-0 in a friendly last night.
As for Wigan, they start their Championship campaign away at Bristol City on August 6 before a trip to Oldham in the Football League Cup first round.
