And more tellingly according to the Daily Star, Costa wants to leave Stamford Bridge.

The Blues star joined from Atletico two years ago in a £32m deal.
Marek Hamsik has hinted he will leave Napoli if they don’t meet his contract demands.
The striker, who caught the eye at Euro 2016 with Slovakia, has yet to agree a new deal with the Serie A club, with Chelsea on alert.
And he has suggested he could head for the exit door if his demands aren’t met.
“I’m happy at Napoli, but now it’ll be important to see how the club act," Hamsik said.

Chelsea have opened talks over a possible deal with AC Milan goalkeeper Diego Lopez.
