Transfer News: Man Utd announcement next week, Chelsea medical in France, Liverpool snub
EXPRESS SPORT brings you all the latest transfer news from the Premier League.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan is on his way to Man United
Manchester United will announce the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan next week.
German newspaper Bild say a £34.7million deal has been agreed between United and Borussia Dortmund, which is a record fee for a player with just one year left on his contract.
Mkhitaryan will then join up with his new team-mates as they begin pre-season training.
Chelsea have reportedly sent an official to Bordeaux to oversee a medical for Michy Batshuayi.
But multiple sources including Belgian football expert Kristof Terreur now say a Chelsea doctor is heading to the Belgium’s Euro 2016 base in Bordeaux.
Terreur tweeted: “Chelsea have send one of their doctors to Bordeaux. You know why: Michy Batshuayi.”
Liverpool's Most Expensive Transfers
Gonzalo Higuain’s agent has insisted he’s never met with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp after reports the pair were together in California watching a Copa America match.
“I’ve never talked about Gonzalo with other clubs as a matter of respect,” Nicolas told Italian station Radio Crc.
“I’ve been in Argentina for a month, I was also in Paris to see PSG because I have other French players as clients and many friends in football, but now I see everywhere that I met [Jurgen] Klopp too but none of this is true.”
