Neymar to Manchester United: Barcelona vice-president speaks out on striker exit
BARCELONA are not planning for the departure of Neymar, according to a senior club official.
Neymar is said to be considering a new contract at the Nou Camp
According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Neymar is currently considering a contract offer from Barca.
And if he does sign a new deal, Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid are all reportedly worried that his new minimum fee release clause may put his purchase beyond them.
And now Barcelona finance vice-president Susana Monje has revealed that the club aren't even considering the possibility of losing their Brazilian striker.
"We just have to control [the salaries] and not go over [our spending limit]. Despite the salary considerations, we have room for that.
"Compared to other clubs, we have very high salary bases [for players], but we have no plans to change that policy."
