Striker urged to snub Barcelona by coach: Manchester United have bid for him
GABRIEL JESUS should reject a move to Barcelona, according to his manager.
Jesus is said to have caught the eye of Manchester United and Barcelona
Jesus scored twice last night as Palmeiras beat America Mineiro 2-0 to go top of the Brazilian league after ten games.
The 19-year-old now has six goals in ten games in the league and is starting to attract the attention of a number of top clubs in Europe.
According to reports in Brazil, Manchester United and Manchester City have both submitted bids for the player of around £15million.
"He has patience.
"And as for [the Brazil national team], he will have a better chance here than if he is at Barcelona and not playing."
And even if Cuca is to lose Jesus, he is confident it will not happen until January at the earliest.
"He knows that if a deal is to happen, it will be in the future and not yet," Cuca added.
"He will stay with us until the end of the year."
