AC Milan set sights on Italy star: Manchester United and Tottenham are interested
AC MILAN have entered the race to sign Manchester United and Tottenham target Franco Vazquez this summer.
Franco Vazquez has been capped twice by Italy
The 27-year-old attacking midfielder scored eight goals and provided seven assists for Serie A side Palermo last season.
And that form has seen him linked with a host of Europe's top clubs.
Chinese investors are currently negotiating with Silvio Berlusconi to take a controlling stake in Milan and they are said to be keen to make a number of marquee acquisitions.
Also on their radar is outgoing Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini, who has been linked with the Southampton job should Ronald Koeman complete his switch to Everton.
