Leeds United star exit: Cellino could get premium for Bellusci after Italian rule change
LEEDS UNITED defender Giuseppe Bellusci has four teams chasing him over a summer transfer, according to reports in Italy.
Leeds could sell Giuseppe Bellusci (left) for a premium this summer
Bellusci, 26, is under contract at the Elland Road until 2018 but there are claims he could be offloaded this summer.
He dropped out of manager Steve Evans' favour during the second half of last season as Leeds climbed away from a Championship relegation dogfight.
And Bellusci may not play for the club again as Italian outlet Calciomercato claim four sides are eyeing a move.
Leeds United club fact file
Website Football Italia suggest one reason why Bellusci is being targeted is that he is Italian.
The FIGC (Italian FA) have brought in regulations for next season that stipulate each club must have at least four youth team players and four players with Italian experience.
The arrangement could add a premium onto any Italian player being bought by a Serie A side and Leeds could get a bumper deal if they decide to sell the defender.
