Everton have £10m bid rejected: Relegated club demand second offer
EVERTON have had a £10million bid for Bolton defender Rob Holding rejected by the relegated Championship club, according to reports.
Rob Holding could leave Bolton for a Premier League side this summer
The Toffees are said to have made an initial approach for the 20-year-old, who was voted Bolton's player of the year.
TalkSPORT claim Wanderers have snubbed that opening offer and want more for their youth product.
But Bolton's future is far from secure heading into England's third tier and they are reportedly realistic over their chances of keeping Holding.
Everton are seeking a centre-back to replace John Stones should the England international be reluctantly sold this summer.
Stones is thought to have caught the eye of both Chelsea - who had three bids for the 21-year-old rejected by Everton last summer - and Manchester United.
The Daily Mirror add that Bournemouth are also interested in Holding.
