Sky Sports claimed yesterday that incoming manager Antonio Conte is interested in signing the player.
But those claims have been countered by Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, who report that Conte instead wants to land Pjanic's team-mate Radja Nainggolan.

The former Lyon player quit French football for Rome in 2011, having started his professional career at Metz.
PSG believe they can bring him back to Ligue 1 and reportedly hope their current loan agreement with Roma over left-back Lucas Digne could sweeten the deal.
According to Gazzetta, Roma have a £14.5m (€18m) purchase option on 22-year-old Digne at the end of the season and PSG could offer a discount to stay in the Italian club's favour.
