The German was showed a yellow card in the second half by referee Jonathan Moss for a foul on Tottenham's Dele Alli in Saturday's 1-1 draw.
It means the 22-year-old will miss the matches against Stoke City and Bournemouth.
Joe Allen is likely to replace Can with Lucas Leiva still out injured.
Can will be available for Jurgen Klopp when they face Borussia Dortmund in the first leg of their Europa League quarter-final tie on Thursday.
His next appearance in the league will be the Merseyside derby against Everton on April 20.
