Hope for Arsenal and Liverpool as Ilkay Gundogan makes statement amid £25m Man City deal
ILKAY GUNGOGAN'S management have issued a statement amid reports Manchester City have agreed a £25million deal for the Borussia Dortmund midfielder.

The German's contract expires in 2017 and so far he has shown little desire to extend his deal at the Westfalenstadion.
This has led to interest from the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool but City are thought to be frontrunners for Gundogan.
Earlier this month, his representative and uncle, Ilhan Gundogan, held talks with incoming City boss Pep Guardiola and director of football Txiki Begiristain at Amsterdam's Conservatorium Hotel.
And according to theS unday Mirror claimed the Etihad club had now agreed a £25m deal for Gundogan.

The statement said: "It is not true. There is no decision and still everything open.
"Ilkay focuses further once on his recovery."
Gundogan missed Germany's 3-2 loss to England last night through injury.
