The Chilean clung to the fast fading possibility of leaving with some silverware in the summer when Pep Guardiola will succeed him, insisting: It's not over yet.
Despite seeing his star striker Sergio Aguero storm off angrily at the end, Pellegrini said: "Every time you drop points it can be more difficult, but that will not change my mind.
"If you mathematically have a chance to do it, you must always think you can do it. The most important thing now is to be focused on the Champions League game we have to play on Tuesday, and to try to qualify for the next stage."
