Arsenal star speaks out on David Ospina ahead of Tottenham clash
PETR CECH believes his presence will not be missed when Arsenal face Tottenham on Saturday (12.45pm).
Cech will miss as much as four weeks of the season run-in
The Czech goalkeeper pulled a calf muscle in the dying seconds of the Gunners' 2-1 defeat to Swansea on Wednesday while running back towards his own goal after coming up for a corner to try to force an equaliser.
And Arsene Wenger today ruled the 33-year-old out for up to four weeks and confirmed that back-up David Ospina will start in his place against Spurs.
But despite the Colombian having been in goal for the defeats to Dinamo Zagreb and Olympiakos before Christmas, Cech is adamant his replacement will do a good job.
"It’s a grade one, so it’s a very short period.
"I don’t think he’ll be available on Tuesday but next Saturday he should be alright."
