The 22-year-old hurt his knee in a clash with Barcelona's Javier Mascherano in the first half on Tuesday.
After treatment at half-time, Oxlade-Chamberlain attempted to carry on after the break but was forced off in the 50th minute.
Reports this morning suggested he could be out for several weeks after leaving the Emirates on crutches.
But manager Arsene Wenger revealed Oxlade-Chamberlain is set for a scan later today and won’t be available for the match at the weekend.
