Coach recommends Premier League move for attacker (just not Newcastle or Sunderland)
DENNIS PRAET must not head to the North East if he joins a Premier League club, according to ex-Stoke boss Johan Boskamp.
Praet has been coveted by a number of European clubs
Praet is rated by a number of Europe’s biggest clubs with both Liverpool and AC Milan reportedly interested in the player as well as Newcastle and Sunderland.
But Boskamp, who spent much of his 28-year managerial in Belgium, has warned him that he must choose the right Premier League team and not be blinded by the bright lights of the competition.
“Praet is that [consistent] now, although I think he will want to get away [from Anderlecht],” Boskamp told Belgian publication HBVL.
“The best example is [Chelsea loanee] Charly Musonda,” Boskamp added.
“He is involved in some nice football at Real Betis.”
