Arsenal and Everton target turns down Barcelona for Premier League move
ANDRIY YARMOLENKO has overlooked Barcelona in favour of a move to the Premier League, according to his agent.
Andriy Yarmolenko has scored 13 goals in 23 games this season
The Dynamo Kiev winger has been a long-term target for Everton, and Roberto Martinez tried to sign the 26-year-old last summer.
The Toffees were willing to meet his buy-out-clause, but Kiev president Ihor Surkis blocked the move.
Arsenal were also linked with a £23million bid for the Ukraine international in January.
Spanish giants Barcelona have also reportedly been interested in a move for the winger who has 13 goals in 23 games this season.
But his agent Vadim Shabliy, claimed Yarmolenko has turned down a move to Barcelona in favour of a switch to the Premier League.
Shabily told Ukrainian website SportFile: "Was there interest on the part of Barcelona? There was.
"Andriy has a desire to play in the Premier League. This championship attracts him, he sees himself in it.
"Everything will depend on the willingness of Yarmolenko."
