Tottenham chairman to make final decision after club slap £24m price tag on midfielder
TOTTENHAM will have to fork out £24million for Youri Tielemans if they are to fend off interest from Atletico Madrid this summer, according to reports.
Tottenham reportedly want to sign Youri Tielemans from Anderlecht
Tielemans, 18, was tracked by Spurs during the January transfer window.
But the north London club refrained from doing business with Anderlecht and instead are waiting until the summer before making an offer.
It is claimed Spurs value Belgium's U21 Tielemans at £15m, while Manchester United were also keen on signing him last month.
The White Hart Lane club are expected to back manager Mauricio Pochetino with more finances this summer, should they qualify for the Champions League.
Spurs have only spent £37.8m on new players this term, with strikers Clinton N'Jie (£8.3m) and
Son Heung-Min (£18m) making minimal impact to the side during their title-chasing campaign.
As for Tielemans, the midfielder boats four goals for the season at Anderlecht, having made his debut at the start of the 2013/14 season.
