Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham target close to agreeing deal
LEICESTER defender Ben Chilwell looks set to rejoin Championship side Huddersfield Town on loan, according to reports.
Ben Chilwell is close to joining Huddersfield on loan
Chilwell was reportedly the subject of two bids from Arsenal in January, both of which were rejected.
Liverpool and Tottenham were also interested in a deal for the 19-year-old, who played eight games for the Terriers on loan earlier in the season.
The defender started for Leicester in their FA Cup third round replay with Spurs last month but he knows first-team opportunities will be limited as the Foxes chase the Premier League title.
And now the Daily Mail claim he will be moving back to Huddersfield to gain more experience.
But Leicester are set to offer him a new contract, increasing his wages from £800-a-week to £12,000-a-week.
Chilwell has been capped for England’s youth teams up to Under 20 level.
