MANCHESTER UNITED are considering a shock loan move for Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy, according to reports.
Manchester United are considering a move for Mathieu Debuchy
The Daily Mirror report Louis van Gaal is considering the Frenchman in a bid to ease United’s full-back crisis.
The Red Devils are currently without Luke Shaw, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo due to injuries.
The full-back was thought to be close to a move to Aston Villa following talks between the two clubs over the weekend.
However, the Premier League’s bottom club have apparently been put off by the Gunners’ £1.5m fee demands and his £60,000-a-week wage demands.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger said today: “Debuchy [leaving] is a possibility. At the moment it doesn’t look likely but it is still a possibility.
“Yes [it will be a loan] because it’s impossible to conclude a permanent move now.”
Sunderland have also been linked with a move for the France international.
