Dele Alli: Why I signed a five-and-a-half year deal with Tottenham
ENGLAND midfielder Dele Alli says he wants to establish himself in the Tottenham side after signing a new contract at the club.
Dele Alli has signed a new contract at Spurs until 2021
Alli, 19, today penned a new deal until 2021 after an impressive first six months in a Spurs shirt.
The England youngster only joined Spurs from MK Dons in a £5million transfer last February before being loaned back to his parent club for the remainder of the season.
"The manager and everyone has helped me a lot - luckily I've broken in (to the first team) and got games.
"I've shown people what I can do and want to establish myself as a Premier League player.
"But I'm 19. I've still got a lot to learn and I can't think of a better place at the minute to do that."
Alli boasts 30 appearances for club and country already this season and has scored five goals since November.
