Joel Campbell says he learned a lot from his experiences on loan away from Arsenal
Campbell, 23, enjoyed a number of stints away from Arsenal afters signing for the Premier League side in 2011.
He spent individual seasons at French side Lorient, Real Betis in Spain, Greek champions Olympiakos and most recently Liga outfit Villarreal.
The Costa Rican returned to Arsenal in the summer and has made seven appearances for the club.
“At Olympiakos I had lots of confidence - the coach, Michel, gave me a lot of confidence and made me an important player in the team, which I was able to make the most of.
"I was a more mature player by that point too as I'd been in Europe for two years and that was really important for me.”
