The Gunners ace had little chance to rest over the summer as he participated in the Copa America with Chile.
Sanchez took six Premier League games to open his account this term.
The injury problems are mounting up for Arsenal with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott all sidelined.
Danny Welbeck is thought to be expected to return before Christmas, while Hector Bellerin is currently sidelined with a groin injury.
But despite the growing casualty list, the Daily Mirror claims Wenger doesn’t want Sanchez to burn out.
