ARSENAL face a fight to recall Wojciech Szczesny, with Roma confirming they would like to keep the goalkeeper beyond the end of the season.

The Polish shot-stopper is currently on loan with the Serie A giants after dropping behind Petr Cech and David Ospina in the pecking order at the Emirates.
Szczesny has impressed at Roma this term and his side occupy third spot in the Serie A table.
And Roma’s director of football Walter Sabatini has confirmed the club are keen to keep Szczesny on.
“We are working on it and would like to keep Szczesny, but knowing Arsenal it will be difficult to achieve that,” Sabatini said as quoted by the London Evening Standard.
“In any case, Roma are already covered in that role for next season. Who did we get? I will never tell you that!”
Szczesny’s situation is improved by the fact that Roma’s other first-team goalkeepers Bogdan Lobont and Morgan de Sanctis are out of contract in the summer.
