Could I go to Chelsea? Manager discusses switch and Bayern Munich possibility
CARLO ANCELOTTI has revealed he is interested in managing Chelsea - but still backs Jose Mourinho to keep the job.
Chelsea's most successful sackings
Italian Ancelotti is one of the favourites to take over at Chelsea, should the club sack Mourinho.
The former Blues boss is joined by Dutchman Guus Hiddink, Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich's Pep Guardiola and Italy head coach Antonio Conte as candidates to replace Mourinho.
Ancelotti himself has also been linked with the Bayern job as Guardiola's contract ends this summer.
Reports emerged today that were Ancelotti to replace Mourinho then he would bring ex-Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele into his coaching set-up.
The pair worked together at PSG until splitting two years ago when Ancelotti moved to Real.
