Manchester United agreed £3.2m contract but transfer snub means they must find £56m
MANCHESTER UNITED reportedly agreed a £3.2million pay packet for Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson this summer - only for the transfer to collapse.

It was revealed today that United are keen on bidding once more for Anderson after their £28m pre-season offer for the player was rejected.
Lazio managed to tie the player down to a five-year deal with a £56m release clause inserted.
Yet Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport claim Anderson could have earned a lot more at Old Trafford.
It is claimed a £3.2m-a-year contract was settled with United, which would have landed the Brazilian £60,000 a week after tax - much more than what he earns in Rome.

But the Red Devils could not force Lazio to sell up and they turned their attention to other targets after the snub.
Manager Louis van Gaal signed three midfielders in the summer - Morgan Schneiderlin, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Memphis Depay.
The boss also splashed out £36m on Anthony Martial, with a total £58m agreed in bonuses and add-ons for the 19-year-old striker.
