That is according to the Evening Standard, who claim the Blues are 'growing increasingly concerned' over the pair's lack of first-team football.
Bamford, whose only start this term came in Palace's League Cup win over Shrewsbury in August, has played just 16 minutes in the Premier League so far.
The 22-year-old striker had a number of options outside of London in the summer following his Championship Player of the Year campaign at Middlesbrough last year.
But Bamford has appeared to have made the wrong call, with Eagles manager Alan Pardew currently favouring Dwight Gayle up front.

Nathaniel Chalobah gained Premier League experience at Burnley last term
While Chalobah has found it even more of a struggle to break into the first-team at Napoli, where the midfielder's managed just five minutes as a late substitute in the Europa League.
Chelsea may look to recall the the England Under-21 internationals in January, as they both have break clauses in their respective loan deals.
