Ex-Hibs striker Griffiths was cited for his behaviour in a pub before an Edinburgh derby in March 2014 where he was seen singing along to a song branding Czech-born former Hearts winger Rudi Skacel a “f****** refugee”.
SFA chiefs had to wait until the legal case against Griffiths had been heard in Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
Griffiths admitted his guilt in court before being admonished by the Sheriff.
Griffiths has now accepted the SFA punishment – which comes on top of being fined a month’s wages by Celtic – and is free to continue his Parkhead career.
