Matty Phillips to Aston Villa or Leicester as West Brom eye Nottingham Forest star
WEST BROM have set their sights on Nottingham Forest winger Michail Antonio after ending their pursuit of QPR's Matty Phillips.
West Brom end interest in QPR's Matty Phillips in favour of Nottingham Forest's Michail Antonio
That is according to Sky Sports, who claim the Baggies have had a £5million bid rejected for the 25-year-old Forest man.
The Championship outfit are reportedly reluctant to sell Antonio this summer, having only signed him a year ago from Sheffield Wednesday for £1.5m.
Hawthorns boss Tony Pulis was previously keen on QPR's Phillips, but has now ended his interest due to the club's asking price of £10m.
The news will come as a boost for Premier League rivals Aston Villa and Leicester City, who have both been credited with an interest in the Scotland international.
