Bastian Schweinsteiger to complete Manchester United medical today ahead of £14.4m move
BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER is set to undergo a medical at Manchester United later today.

The Red Devils revealed yesterday that they had agreed a fee with Bayern Munich for the German World Cup winner, believed to be £14.4million.
A club statement read: "Manchester United is delighted to announce it has reached agreement with Bayern Munich to sign midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, subject to a medical and personal terms."
And according to Sky Sports, the 30-year-old midfielder, who has entered the final year of his contract at Bayern, will complete a medical today.
Schweinsteiger will become the first German player to play for United’s first team once the deal is finalised, and his national manager Joachim Low believes has backed him to be a success at Old Trafford.

"Basti is an absolute leader and world-class player who can put his stamp on any team, including of course Manchester United," he said on the proposed deal.
"He knows Louis van Gaal, who wanted him unconditionally. I know from him that he still has big ambitions and goals.
"He will approach his new challenge in England like we all know him - with dedication and highly-motivated.
"For Bayern and the Bundesliga his departure is without question a loss."
