Fee agreed for Chelsea, Liverpool and Man United target Shaqiri as Stoke close in on deal
XHERDAN SHAQIRI is on the verge of a Premier League move with Stoke reportedly agreeing a £12million fee with Inter Milan.
Xherdan Shaqiri Player Profile
The Switzerland star, previously monitored by Chelsea, Liverpool, and Manchester United, only moved to the Serie A giants in January.
But he is set to become the Potters' most expensive player - ahead of £10m Peter Crouch - after struggling for games under Roberto Mancini.
Shaqiri, 23, started just eight league games for Inter after joining from Bayern Munich.
He appeared a further seven times from the bench and with former City boss Mancini planning a summer overhaul Shaqiri seems set to depart Milan.
Xhedran Shaqiri is closing in on a move to Stoke
Capped 46 times by Switzerland, the 5 ft 6" winger would represent a huge coup for Mark Hughes.
Stoke this week received a £6m bid for keeper Asmir Begovic but are thought to be holding out for £10m.
Hughes has already signed Phillipp Wollscheid from Bayer Leverkusen and Jakob Haugaard from FC Midtylland this summer as he bids to improve on last term's ninth-placed finish.
