In-demand French midfielder rejects Manchester United and Arsenal to sign new contract
YOUNG midfielder Amine Harit has rejected Manchester United and Arsenal in order to sign a new contract with Nantes.
Best opening day fixture record
The French youth international was approached by Arsene Wenger and Louis van Gaal over a potential move to the Premier League this summer.
Barcelona were also supposedly interested, but media outlet Foot Mercato claims that Harit has snubbed all proposals, penning a new two-year Nantes deal in the process.
My club is FC Nantes and they have my priority
The 18-year-old confirmed earlier in the year that a number of clubs were chasing his signature, explaining: "Regarding my future? I am aware that English clubs, Italian and Belgian are interested in me. But for now, I do not want to pay attention.
"My club is FC Nantes and they have my priority. Since I've been with Nantes, I feel fine, I feel I have really progressed."
Louis van Gaal and Arsene Wenger have both missed out on Amine Harit
