The Brazil international is believed to be an £18million target for Brendan Rodgers after another impressive season in the Bundesliga.
It is said that Liverpool have offered Firmino a lucrative five-year deal and are hopeful that the move can be finalised once the Copa America ends, despite interest from Manchester United.

The Reds are also apparently plotting a bid for Sevilla's Carlos Bacca in a bid to strengthen their attacking options, with Zenit's Salomon Rondon also on Rodgers' radar.
And Firmino has given his biggest indication yet that he will be at Anfield next season, saying: "I want to win games and titles. It is time to take the next step in my career, but for now I'm focused on Brazil and the Copa America."
