REVEALED: Chelsea star explains decision to make La Liga RETURN
GAEL KAKUTA claims Sevilla's 'sporting project' was one of the reasons he left Chelsea to sign for the La Liga outfit.
Gael Kakuta signs for Sevilla on four-year deal
The French winger has put pen to paper on a four-year deal with back-to-back Europa League winners after seeing out his contract at Stamford Bridge.
Kakuta was in fine form during his season-long loan spell at Rayo Vallecano last term, scoring five goals and assisting seven.
And the 23-year-old, who will cost Sevilla £2.5million in compensation fees, believes he can 'bring quality' ahead of the club's Champions League campaign.
I really like Sevilla's sporting project
Kakuta is also looking forward to being a part of Sevilla's sporting project.
"I'm here because of what I did at Rayo," Kakuta said during his unveiling. "If Sevilla have focused on me it's because of that.
"I can bring quality to this team. I really like Sevilla's sporting project and the team plays very good football."
