Leicester goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel responds to Arsenal interest
KASPER SCHMEICHEL insists he has no desire to leave Leicester City in the summer.
Kasper Schmeichel wants Leicester stay
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the Denmark international, despite only signing a new four-year deal at the Foxes last summer.
The 28-year-old kept five clean sheets in the last seven outings to lift the Foxes from rockbottom of the Premier League to a 14th-place finish.
And Schmeichel, who left Leeds United for the King Power Stadium in 2011 for £1.5million, insists he's only thinking about his Leicester career.
A club transfer isn't in my thinking
"I've played for four seasons in Leicester, and they are happy with me, and we have a good working relationship," Schmeichel said ahead of the summer window.
"This is where I see my immediate future.
"A club transfer isn't in my thinking. I am in a club where there are good coaches and owners, and it's great."
