HULL striker Abel Hernandez has been hit with a three-match ban after punching Manchester United star Phil Jones.

The forward was charged with violent conduct by the FA after the incident was missed by officials during the 0-0 draw on the final day of the season.
The result saw Hull relegated to the Championship, and Hernandez will now miss next season's first three matches after pleading guilty.

An FA statement confirmed: "Hull City’s Abel Hernandez has been handed a three-match suspension, which must be served at the start of next season.
"The forward admitted an act of violent conduct which was not seen by the match officials but caught on video."
