CONFIRMED: Bournemouth sign goalkeeper Artur Boruc following Southampton release
BOURNEMOUTH have signed Artur Boruc on a permanent deal following his release by Southampton.

The experienced goalkeeper helped the Cherries win promotion to the Premier League this season during a loan spell.
A club statement confirmed: "AFC Bournemouth have completed the permanent signing of goalkeeper Artur Boruc on a free transfer following his release from Southampton."
The 35-year-old Poland international, who kept 18 clean sheets in all competitions last term, has put pen to paper on a one-year deal, with the option for a further 12 months.

“I didn’t think that (promotion would be possible) when I signed the contract (initial loan move),” he said.
“But, as soon as I came here, I saw a bunch of lads who were really working hard and they had their minds on football.
“They knew what they wanted to achieve and the manager has put in some great work.
“After a couple of games I realised we could do something and we had the belief to achieve it.
“In my life, I’ve never seen a group who have worked so hard and been as professional as possible.
“It’s probably the first season I’ve seen what it is to be a professional footballer from the way they are on the training ground to everything else.”
