And Van der Sar who enjoyed a glittering career at United, thinks pizza gate was a defining moment in terms of the rivalry between the two clubs.
"I think rivalry between Fergie and Wenger was a big part of it," Van der Sar told the club's official site.

"It's great to have a rivalry and Arsenal doing really well - hope they can challenge for the title. I admire their philosophy."
