Reports suggest Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has added the striker to his list of summer targets - with a £45million bid mooted.
But the London Evening Standard claim Spurs will resist all attempts from United to sign Kane.
Van Gaal has already spent £25m on Dutch winger Memphis Depay and is eyeing another four signings.
Real Madrid ace Gareth Bale is a key target but it was suggested Kane could be an option to lead the line for Van Gaal's men next season.
Tottenham want to keep Harry Kane this summer
But Spurs want to keep the 21-year-old, who has scored 20 Premier league goals this season.
Kane signed a new five-and-a-half year contract at White Hart Lane in February.
And he has publicly insisted he is happy at Spurs after breaking into Mauricio Pochettino's team following four loan spells in the Football League.
