PSV rubbish Liverpool's Wijnaldum contact and WARN Arsenal and Man Utd to look elsewhere
PSV EINDHOVEN have denied rumours that Liverpool have made contact over captain Georginio Wijnaldum.
PSV have no desire to sell Georginio Wijnaldum in the summer window
The Reds have been heavily linked with a summer move for the 24-year-old midfielder, with recent reports suggesting they were in talks with PSV.
However, technical director Marcel Brands insists there has been no talks with the Anfield club.
We have not had any contact with Liverpool about Wijnaldum
His words come a day after Manchester United announced the signing of PSV winger Memphis Depay for a fee of £25million.
The PSV chief also warned other suitors that the club have no intention to sell Wijnaldum, with Arsenal and Manchester United also credited with an interest.
Brands, who is charge of the Dutch champions’ transfers, said: “We have not had any contact with Liverpool about Wijnaldum.
“We hope to keep the rest of the team together now because we are playing in the Champions League next season. I hope we don’t have to sell any other players.”
