Man City close to deal for Man United, Chelsea and Arsenal target Roberto Firmino
MANCHESTER CITY have emerged as favourites to sign Hoffenheim midfielder Roberto Firmino.
Roberto Firmino is seen as a potential replacement for Yaya Toure
The Brazilian has stirred up a lot of Premier League interest, with rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all reportedly interested.
However, the Daily Star claim that Manuel Pellegrini is winning the race for the £20million man.
Etihad bosses are said to have been tracking the attacking midfielder for several months with a view to a summer move.
And it's believed advanced talks have now begun between Hoffenheim and Firmino's representatives.
The 23-year-old is expected to be offered a long-term deal worth around £80,000 a week.
And he is seen as a player who can plug the gap left by Yaya Toure, who all but confirmed his imminent City exit yesterday.
